An Invitation from the Department of International Business
Greeting! You are cordially invited to join us for celebrating the grand opening of the so-coined English Zone Cafe, which is a quiet corner exclusively designed for English conversation only. The coffee is inexpensive but fresh, English-speaking staff members are inexperienced but friendly, and we have the best support from the Wenzao family!
Purchasing each cup of coffee will make you earn one stamp on a card called "coupon". Once you collect six stamps, you can exchange the coupon for a cup of coffee at no charge. Such coupon is transferable but bears no cash value. On the grand opening day, the second cup is on the house. There is no such thing as a free lunch, as we all know. So why free coffee?
This coffee shop opens from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays. It is located at the second floor of the New Teaching Building, where you can find the Department of Foreign Language Instruction on your one side and the Department of International Affairs on the other side. [Whoever still cannot find it should see a doctor.]
A few of my distinguished colleagues already got the coupon from me on Wednesday. [Dean Margaret Chen, as a bona fide Taurus, asked me to give her six stamps prior to the opening. I must humbly decline her reasonable proposal so as to have a clean report submitted to the Ministry of Education in December, when this funded project will end.] Those who have not seen the coupon (and stamp) are either too wealthy to need it or have the luxury of working in a more pleasant environment without bothering to supervise my work or collaborate with me. For either reason, they, the blessed group of course, really should check this site out.

週三下午，幾位敬愛的長官、同仁已經拿到集章的小卡片。[其中，道地金牛座的 陳教務長要求我先蓋滿六個章。因為年底要認真向教育部結案，斗膽婉拒。]大多數同仁，沒有收到我的宣傳單，也不知道我所言為何。原因有二：也許他(她)們經濟情況佳，根本不需要這類『買六送一』的優惠。另一原因是，他(她)們何其幸運，工作範圍與我沒有交集，不必帶領我或與我合作。如此幸福，更應該來捧場啊。

全英語環境，謝絕其他語言、方言。也婉拒任何負面意見。
沒有教育部的『技專校院提昇整體教學品質專案 -- 子計畫三：提昇學校師生創造力教育專案計畫』、本校百分之二十的配合款，就不會有這一小小咖啡坊。感恩。
